The Fifth Door Slides
THIRI supplied the harmonic seed. MusicAPI.ai generated the song, stems, MIDI, WAV, aligned lyrics, BPM analysis, and artwork. This page gathers the public artifacts from that run.
THIRI + MusicAPI.ai
What was tested
The run tested whether a THIRI reharmonization brief could steer a MusicAPI.ai generation, then whether MusicAPI.ai MIDI could be reduced back into chords for THIRI post-analysis.
The requested progression was Cmaj9 | E7#9 | Am9 | D7#11 | Dm9 | G13 | Cmaj9 | Db7#11 , seeded from THIRI ideas including chain-of-dominants, secondary dominants, and a tritone turnaround. MusicAPI.ai did not follow the chart exactly, but it preserved the color world: extended harmony, rootless electric keys, borrowed dominant motion, and modal mixture.
Playable outputs
Audio assets
Every local audio file from the experiment is playable below. The primary clips also include MIDI downloads and WAV source links.
Stem B
Instrumental
Instrumental stem returned from the selected source clip. This is the production-preferred branch for future chord reduction.
Stem C
Vocals
Second vocals stem record from the live stem task. The live task returned four succeeded records, not the two described in the docs.
Stem D
Instrumental
Second instrumental stem record. Future implementation should select by stem title or type before running MIDI and chord reduction.
Generated imagery
Visual assets
All local image assets from the run are displayed here, including the generated album cover that was dumped alongside the MusicAPI.ai clip artwork.
Symbolic layer
MIDI and metadata
The experiment proved the useful loop: MusicAPI.ai audio can be pulled back into MIDI, reduced into candidate chords, and sent through THIRI for harmonic analysis.
